Job summary

Vespa-Packaging Engineers Ltd. in Brampton, ON is seeking a full-time permanent machinist to join our shop floor. You will compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, measure and lay out work pieces, repair tools, and set up production machinery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, a secondary school graduation certificate (or equivalent), and the ability to work on-site on flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.

• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
