Qualifications

  • College or diploma program of 1–2 years related to engineering or manufacturing.
  • Experience in quality control and interpretation of drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create manufacturing instructions.
  • Create user manuals.
  • Repair and maintain machinery.
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials.
  • CAD design (CAD)
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design drawings and specifications.
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants.
