Job summary

Marwood International is seeking an Electrician to join our Tillsonburg, Ontario team. The role involves preventative maintenance, wiring new panels, and diagnosing/measuring electrical and control systems on automotive equipment.

You will work with PLCs, robots, and lighting systems, ensuring safe and efficient production. The ideal candidate holds a recognized Electrician License, Grade 12 or GED, and 2+ years of Tier I automotive manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognized Electrician License and Grade 12 or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in Tier I automotive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance on machinery/equipment.
• Wire new panels for machinery/equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery/equipment as needed.
• Program/revise new and existing machinery as needed.
• Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Group Leader.
• Complete maintenance work requests, CIF's as required.
• Programming of PLC's and robots.
• Read and revise ladder logic, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Install and maintain lighting and emergency systems.
• All other relevant duties.

Hourly Rate: $46.00 + Shift Premiums

Shift: Rotating Mon - Thurs (6a - 4p & 4p - 2a)

• Select, install and repair bussways, flexible and rigid conduit, cable trough, wire and communication cables
• Read, interpret and revise ladder logic, distribution, mechanical architectural, fluid power, alarm system, visual equipment and instrumentation drawings
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot high-intensity discharge, fluorescent and incandescent lighting, measure and report illumination levels and install and maintain emergency lighting systems
• All other relevant duties

Key Requirements:

• Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
• Recognized Electrician License
• 2+ years related experience in Tier I Automotive manufacturing
