About This Opportunity

We are now looking for a Cloud Verification Professional to integrate and verify the impact of third-party components on our Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS). You will work in a team setting up target CNIS environments for Ericsson Product Development Units!

Your role will include activities such as : test strategy analysis, lab integration, verification, automation tools integration, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation.

Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We coordinate in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work!

What you will do :

• Analyze new features from a quality assurance perspective
• Design, develop, and maintain testing strategies to ensure quality (manual and automated tests)
• CNIS lab integration and testing environment preparation
• Report, document, and track bugs to ensure their resolution
• Assess and estimate the overall testing effort
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as technical leads, architects, and developers
• Trouble shooting and integrating sophisticated solutions and systems, troubleshooting mindset. Debug and test automation codebase, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Document and test new software applications, providing detailed reports.
• Research, investigate, and resolve complex technical issues.

What you will being :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree from technical university, or equivalent
• 5+ years working experiences on Cloud verification
• Very good understanding of CNIS technology and capabilities (including SDI, CCD, OMC)
• Strong L2 / L3 networking knowledge and trouble shooting skills
• Senior level competence on Kubernetes cluster deployment and debugging with Cloud infrastructure
• Jenkins experience, automation testing experience with Java, python and shell script.
• Understanding of how CNFs and applications use and integration
• Understanding of the cloud networking and Ericsson test environment
• Good knowledge of R&D and PDU ways of working
• Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
• High sense of urgency and accountability.
• Ability to smoothly collaborate within and outside the I&V team, and to fast build up contact networks
• Continues learning habit, innovating, adapting and responding to change

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan : Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Sales Incentive Plan : Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson’s Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of 2 medical and dental plan options that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of the Deluxe medical and dental plan coverages for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee’s contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee’s contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time

Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, 3-5 personal days (depending on role), 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and unlimited sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
