Job summary

Canadian Cancer Society is seeking a Cloud Solutions Analyst to support and engineer CCS’s Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. You will help enhance cloud-based collaboration, automation, and AI-enabled solutions across Power Platform and Copilot tools.

The role focuses on automation governance, secure configurations, and high-availability services. A strong background in Azure, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform is essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, and related services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with workflow automation and process automation solutions (Power Automate preferred).
  • Experience with Azure services and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
  • Experience creating or supporting AI agents, chatbots, or automation solutions.
  • Understanding of automation concepts, low-code/no-code development, cloud security, and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Azure cloud services and infrastructure, including identity, access, and security controls.
  • Develop, implement, and support Microsoft Teams and SharePoint team sites.
  • Configure and support SaaS platforms, including tenant configuration and access controls.
  • Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using Power Automate.
  • Integrate Power Automate flows with SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Outlook, and third-party systems.
  • Build and enhance Power Apps for internal teams.
  • Assist with testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of automation solutions.
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft core apps and cloud services.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Teams, Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dynamics.

MAKING AN IMPACT

Reporting to the Manager, Cloud Solutions, the Cloud Solutions Analyst provides operational support, planning, and engineering for CCS’s Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments. This role supports and enhances cloud-based collaboration, automation, and AI-driven solutions by leveraging Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, and Copilot technologies. The analyst contributes to continuous improvement through automation, low-code solutions, and responsible adoption of AI tools to improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Administer Azure cloud services and infrastructure, including identity, access, and security controls
  • Develop, implement, and support organizational Microsoft Teams and SharePoint team sites
  • Configure and support selected SaaS platforms, including tenant configuration, integrations, access controls, and ongoing operational support
  • Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using tools such as Power Automate to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort
  • Integrate Power Automate flows with SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Outlook, and third-party systems where applicable
  • Build and enhance Power Apps (Canvas and basic Model Driven) solutions for internal teams
  • Apply best practices for automation governance, error handling, documentation, and performance optimization
  • Assist with testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of automation solutions
  • Support adoption of Microsoft Copilot across Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Assist in creating, configuring, and maintaining Copilot Studio agents, including knowledge source configuration, topic design and conversation flows, basic integrations and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrate basic AI and Agentic AI knowledge, including promoting best practices, responsible AI principles, data privacy and security considerations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify safe and valuable AI use cases
  • Support documentation and user guidance for Copilot and AI-enabled tools
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft core business applications and cloud services
  • Analyze and resolve user issues related to: SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics and other Microsoft services
  • Resolve assigned incidents, service requests, and change requests; act as an escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 issues
  • Proactively monitor systems, identify issues, and troubleshoot in a timely manner
  • Adhere to technical standards, policies, best practices, and organizational change management processes
  • Identify technology enhancements that improve system reliability, security, and user experience
  • Create and maintain clear, concise technical and end user documentation for automation, AI, and cloud solutions
  • Provide advice, knowledge sharing, and informal training to peers on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot tools
  • Contribute to cloud, automation, and other AI-related projects as part of the broader Digital Strategy and Technology business unit

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Workflow automation and process automation solutions (Power Automate preferred; equivalent enterprise automation platforms will be considered)
    • Azure services and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
    • Cloud and SaaS platform administration
    • PowerShell scripting (basic to intermediate)
  • Experience with AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating, configuring, or supporting AI agents, chatbots, automated workflows, or similar automation solutions.
  • Understanding of:
    • Automation concepts and workflow design
    • Low-code/no-code development principles
    • Cloud security, identity and access management, and Zero Trust architecture
    • Generative AI and AI technologies in enterprise environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, particularly in AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities as part of a small, highly collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance concepts is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is highly preferred, with French being an asset due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions.
