Job summary

EY is seeking a Cloud Security Senior Consultant to join our Montreal Cybersecurity team. You will lead and contribute to engagements, applying best practices to protect cloud environments and drive measurable security programs.

Leverage expertise in Azure, AWS, and GCP; build relationships with clients; identify opportunities and mitigate risks while delivering high-value advisory services. Fluency in English and French is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master’s degree preferably in Information Security, Business Management, Information Systems, CS, Engineering, or related majors.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience securing cloud solutions (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Experience building and migrating applications in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Good understanding of cloud security architecture, security assessments, audit standards for the Cloud, security threats in the cloud.
• Experience working independently or as part of a large team to deliver cloud security services on its own or within large projects.
• Industry cloud security certifications such as CCSK, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Solution Architect.
• Familiarity with GDPR, PCI, SOX 404 and/or OSFI compliance.
• Scripting experience using Shell, Python, PowerShell, etc.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Defender Suite and Sentinel.
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust concepts and Cloud Security Networking.
• Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute technically to cybersecurity client engagements and internal projects.
• Support delivery using Microsoft Azure; knowledge of GCP and AWS is an asset.
• Establish internal and external relationships; execute cloud security assessments and support cloud implementations.
• Identify potential business opportunities within engagements and elevate them as appropriate.
• Identify risks within engagements and raise issues with senior team members.
• Deliver quality client services and manage risk; keep stakeholders informed.
