Job summary

Qualifications

With the rapid adoption of Digital Business and Cloud technologies, the emphasis on growing the in-house Cloud Security team is stronger than ever.

This growth in Cloud adoption across the enterprise has created this great opportunity for an Azure Cloud Security Engineer who wishes to join an excellent team of professionals in a people-oriented organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide subject matter expertise on architecture, authentication, and systems security. Understand our full engineering stack, services, and data flow.
  2. Assess, design, implement, automate, and document security solutions and processes for AWS, MS Azure, SaaS applications, and other cloud platforms.
  3. Deploy security solutions in cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and M365.
  4. Research and maintain an extensive knowledge base of current cloud technology advancements, trends, and potential threats.
  5. Assist in the investigation and remediation of security incidents and issues.
  6. Create and support KPIs and KRIs that measure risk reduction and progress in the cloud over time.
  7. Help governance, compliance, and risk management teams ensure the system meets cybersecurity requirements.
  8. Act as a mentor across teams to promote best practices in cloud security and management.
  9. Protect systems from data breaches at all times.
  10. Monitor, operate, and improve system uptime, performance, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  11. Collaborate with operational and development teams during issue resolution.
  12. Assist with other cybersecurity-related tasks, including deploying and fine-tuning SIEM solutions, threat hunting, security event analysis, and forensics.
  13. Manage security web broker cloud access solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related fields.
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CRISC or similar cloud certifications.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft AAD, M365, and Endpoint Manager.
  • Experience with Endpoint Point solutions like FireEye, CrowdStrike.
  • Experience with Network Access Control solutions such as Aruba ClearPass.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management solutions like CyberArk, BeyondTrust.
  • Strong background in cloud security practices.
  • Experience in implementing and configuring IT infrastructure systems, including OS, applications, databases, firewalls, and networks.
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows OS, including configuration, installation, tuning, and monitoring.
  • Experience with Cloud Security Solutions such as Zscaler, CASB.
  • Experience with SIEM solutions like Rapid7, Exabeam, Sentinel.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure security design, architecture, and implementation.
