Position Title: Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence 3x/week)

12 Months Contract Position

Reports to: VP, Lead Cybersecurity Engineer

Business Information Security & Risk Management (BISRM)

* Looking for 5-7 years of information security experience with focus on application and infrastructure.

* Strong experience with cloud security regarding infrastructure and application development within AWS and Azure cloud security providers.

* Need to have DevOps/CICD pipeline experience and familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud security providers.

* Experience with configuration management, change management, project management methodologies. Nice to have governance, architecture, or compliance and Automation or AI experience.

* 2-3 rounds of interviews, including one onsite interview.

Team Profile:

BISRM Team enables Business and Technology to form a holistic view of risk and make risk-based decisions. They advise on risk posture, embed security, governance, and compliance, and handle regulatory and client inquiries.

Position Description:

The Cloud Security Engineer designs, implements, and supports investment management environments, mainly AWS & Azure. Works within a larger Cloud Security and Risk Management organization to build secure, scalable solutions, and aligns security requirements across stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information assurance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of information security experience focused on application and infrastructure.
• Expertise in cloud security for AWS and Azure.
• Experience with DevOps/CICD pipelines and cloud security providers.
• Experience with compliance standards (GLBA, SOX, SOC, etc.) and audit engagements.
• Strong communication skills to convey business risks.
• Stakeholder management and technical leadership experience.
• Knowledge of various computing platforms and networks.
• Experience with configuration and change management tools such as Cherwell or ServiceNow.
