Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to help validate and improve security reasoning for AI systems across AWS, GCP, and Azure. This fully remote, part-time contractor role offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and the chance to influence how AI interprets real-world cloud failures.

You will analyze real-world security scenarios, review IAM, networking, storage, and container controls, and provide actionable feedback to strengthen AI-driven security assessments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud environments in production.
• Familiarity with cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security across major platforms.
• Experience identifying or responding to real-world misconfigurations and security incidents.
• Ability to reason about risk exposure, blast radius, and business impact.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on task-based assignments.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

Nice to Have

• Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Google PCSE, Azure Security Engineer, etc.)


• Experience with cloud penetration testing or red team exercises


• Background in incident response or cloud forensics


• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud or CIS Benchmarks
