Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to help advance AI systems by analyzing real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that fits around your schedule (10–40 hours/week).

You will assess IAM, networking, storage and container security, classify gaps and misconfigurations, and provide expert feedback to improve how AI reasons about cloud incidents and failures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud environments in production.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, storage and container security.
• Familiar with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents.
• Ability to reason about blast radius, risk exposure and business impact.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• Able to reason clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact


• Strong written communication - you can explain complex security concepts clearly

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, etc.)


• Background in incident response, penetration testing, or cloud architecture


• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK Cloud or CSA CCM
