Position: Cloud Security Administrator

Location: Montreal

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructures using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, ensuring compliance and security standards.
• Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), including MFA, conditional access, and identity protection.
• Utilize Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender, and other tools for security best practices, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations like GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and conduct audits.
• Identify security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and collaborate with risk teams.
• Implement security tools such as Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Identity, and Cloud App Security. Develop automation with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Power BI.
• Ensure data encryption at rest and in transit, promote zero-trust models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design secure cloud environments aligned with business goals.
• Lead security incident response efforts and participate in vulnerability management.
• Educate teams on security best practices, DLP policies, and compliance.
• Define and manage business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Additional Support Duties:

• Support onsite users with configuration and troubleshooting of PCs, mobile devices, peripherals, and AV equipment.
• Manage IT site operations, including inventory, re-imaging, and shipments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in cloud architecture/security, especially with Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Expertise in Azure Security Center, Defender, AAD, and security policies.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
• Experience with security tools like Azure Sentinel, Cloud App Security, CrowdStrike, and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Understanding of Zero Trust, threat detection, vulnerability management.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Certifications like AZ-303/304/305, CISSP, or similar are advantageous.
