Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to design and automate multi-cloud environments in AWS and OCI. You will build and maintain IaC with Terraform, establish secure, observable foundations, and create reference architectures for teams to follow.

With 4+ years in cloud/DevOps, you will evolve in a dynamic, security‑conscious environment, implementing GitHub Actions CI/CD and policy as code to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps.
• Experience with AWS and/or OCI in multi-cloud environments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (GitHub Actions or equivalent).
• Proficiency with Terraform modules, state management, and structuring.

Job description

• Design, automate and develop multi-cloud environments (AWS and OCI)
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions (Terraform)
• Establish shared cloud foundations (network, security, IAM, observability)
• Design multi-cloud architecture patterns and golden paths
• Develop platform services (such as landing zones and clusters)
• Implement GitOps practices and CI/CD infrastructure
• Integrate security controls (policy as code)
• Ensure performance, resilience, security and cost optimization
• Serve as a technical reference and advise teams
• Contribute to the evolution of cloud standards and norms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT
• A minimum of four years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps
• Practical experience with AWS and/or OCI, and ability to evolve in a multi-cloud environment
• Experience in infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
• Knowledge of French is required
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform: modules, structuring, state)
• Proficiency in automation and configuration tools, including Ansible
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell and/or other languages)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/containerization
• Knowledge of cloud network concepts and interconnectivity (WAN, Direct Connect, dynamic routing, hub-spoke, firewalls, micro-segmentation, DNS)
