Job Description

We are a dynamic and growing Internet Service Provider seeking an enthusiastic and driven Infrastructure Operations Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to make a significant impact on network operations and system builds.

The successful candidate will lead network operations, manage system builds, oversee key projects, and support core and distribution networks. Responsibilities include supervising field services and technical support teams, improving network performance, stability, and efficiency, and ensuring high-quality network infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate and support core and distribution networks, servers, and equipment.
  2. Monitor tickets and infrastructure alerts, including after hours.
  3. Develop strategies to enhance network stability, reduce costs, and improve performance.
  4. Maintain documentation related to network operations and system processes.
  5. Lead network projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  6. Oversee system builds, upgrades, and technology implementations.
  7. Manage inventory for networking equipment and spare parts.
  8. Support and guide field services and technical support teams.
  9. Review and manage support tickets for timely resolution.
  10. Be available for support via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  11. Serve as escalation point for network and installation issues.
  12. Contribute to staff training and professional development.
  13. Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  14. Train technicians on new equipment and procedures.
  15. Manage time effectively across multiple projects and tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in technical operations or supervisory roles within telecommunications or ISP industries.
  • Strong passion for technology and continuous learning.
  • Ability to contribute innovative ideas for environment improvement.
  • Solid understanding of core and distribution networks and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalations.
  • Flexibility to work after hours as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to perform fieldwork.
  • Experience with Cisco networking, Juniper firewalls, Linux, Windows, FreeBSD, monitoring software (Zabbix, PRTG), Sandvine ActiveLogic, VoIP systems, and Ubiquiti equipment.
