Job summary

Abbeal SAS is seeking a Cloud Network & Security Administrator for a major bank in Montreal. You will design and manage secure cloud architectures on AWS and Azure, focusing on resilient, scalable networking and security controls.

You will build VPCs, subnets, and routing, deploy Zero Trust environments, and manage NGFWs like Check Point, Cisco FMC, and Palo Alto, while using Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in network and security engineering.
• AWS networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, Security Groups.
• Terraform and CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing), Azure network security (NSGs)

Responsibilities

A major Canadian bank is looking for a network and security expert to design resilient cloud architectures.

A major Canadian bank is looking for an experienced network and security engineer to design and manage secure cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.

The role

You build and manage VPCs, subnets and routing tables, deploy Zero Trust environments, manage next-generation firewalls (Check Point, Cisco FMC, Palo Alto) and an Infoblox DDI infrastructure, while developing infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation.

What we're looking for

• 7-10+ years in network and security engineering
