Job summary

Nakisa is seeking a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications used by Fortune 1000 companies worldwide. This hybrid Montréal role combines backend and frontend work in a collaborative Agile environment, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.

You will partner with Product, QA, and DevOps, leverage AI-assisted tools, and contribute to evolving our product portfolio with best practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent and solid OOP foundations.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with frontend (Vue.js) and modern web stacks.
• Strong communication and collaboration in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and frontend components.
• Design APIs and database schemas with scalability in mind.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to ship on schedule.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and best practices.
