Job summary

WBM is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead design and implementation of Microsoft 365 and cloud solutions for client projects on our Digital Transformation Team in Calgary. You will translate business outcomes into secure, scalable designs and guide migrations across identity, security, and endpoint management.

You will collaborate with enterprise architects, project managers, vendors, and clients to define remediation needs, drive design reviews, and ensure smooth transitions to support.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in solution architecture or technical consulting with client-facing delivery.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical solution designs and migration plans.
• Strong communication skills for executives, business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Analytical, risk management, and project documentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and translate requirements into current-state and target-state designs.
• Develop migration approaches, implementation plans, dependencies and risks.
• Architect Microsoft 365 and cloud solutions across tenant, identity, security, and Azure integration.
• Design server, Azure, endpoint, and network migrations with cutover and rollback plans.
• Provide technical direction to delivery resources and ensure solutions match design.
• Collaborate with clients, internal teams and vendors to meet security and compliance standards.
• Embed identity, data protection, security, and continuity considerations into designs.
• Create architecture diagrams, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
