Our client, a growing logistics solutions company, is looking to hire an experienced Cloud / DevOps / Data Engineer to join their team in Toronto.

We seek candidates with extensive experience developing and managing infrastructure on AWS, combined with knowledge of DevOps and Data Engineering in this environment.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, monitor, and maintain scalable, reliable cloud solutions.
• Develop automation scripts for deploying, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining server infrastructure.
• Construct DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of code changes.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines.
• Collaborate with back-end development team to enhance data systems.
• Manage and optimize database performance.
• Implement security best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• AWS certifications in Solutions Architecture and DevOps Engineer.
• 4-5 years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and maintenance (VPC, RDS, Lambda, EC2, Redshift, ECS, IAM).
• Strong understanding of DevOps Engineering (Bitbucket).
• Experience designing, developing, and managing data pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow) is preferred.
• Proficiency with Python or similar scripting tools for automation.
• Experience managing and optimizing production databases (PostgreSQL or SQL).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.

Note : This position is hybrid, requiring presence in the office 3 days a week and travel to customer sites for meetings.
