Job description

A career within our Infrastructure practice will provide you with the opportunity to design, build, coordinate, and maintain the IT environments for clients to run internal operations, collect data, monitor, develop, and launch products. Infrastructure management consists of hardware, storage, compute, network, and software layers.

As part of our DevSecOps Engineering team, you will work as an individual contributor and/or be part of a team developing and delivering both prototype and production software. You will build, administer, and manage processes associated with DevSecOps aspects such as testing, prototyping, security, and automation.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Cloud DevOps Manager, you’ll work with a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Customer Success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and propose technical cloud-based solutions, including proposals and statements of work.
  • Develop reference architectures and best practices to optimize clients’ cloud adoption, application performance, security, and cost models.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into designs and approaches.
  • Participate in meetings with internal and external customers.
  • Identify and prioritize use cases for implementation.
  • Build implementation plans based on technical requirements.
Coaching, Recruiting, and Mentorship
  • Foster an environment for skill development and career growth among team members.
  • Identify potential candidates to join the Cloud Engineering team.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
Implementation, Innovation, and Learning
  • Engage in continuous learning about new software and technologies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP offerings.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant certifications.
  • Contribute to cloud-focused projects, ensuring alignment with architecture.
  • Build reusable cloud patterns and artifacts.
  • Implement cloud-agnostic use cases utilizing provider and third-party tools.
  • Participate actively in the technology community, sharing knowledge and providing thought leadership.
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
  • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Experience with Linux OS and package managers.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancers, L2/4/7).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
  • Experience with Git version control practices.
  • Ability to script in Bash and Python.
  • Expertise in one or more public clouds (GCP, Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of containerization and writing Dockerfiles.
  • Experience with Kubernetes manifests and Helm/Kustomize.
  • Understanding of service meshes like Istio.
  • Knowledge of site reliability engineering practices.
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines with advanced deployment strategies.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Understanding of security and hardening best practices.
