Job summary

TD is offering a Winter-term Co-op/Internship position in Toronto, Ontario. The role focuses on developing and enhancing the Enterprise DevOps pipeline, enabling self-service environment creation and infrastructure modularization for Azure public cloud.

You will participate in DevOps development, learn Python/Java scripting, Docker setups, and cloud security practices while contributing to TD’s internal tools such as GitHub, Terraform, Nexus, and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant technology program, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, Computing, etc.
• Knowledge of python and/ or java programming is required
• Ideal candidate is a well-rounded developer with DevOps and Cloud tools knowledge and eagerness to deepen expertise

Responsibilities

• Contribute to DevOps development, design, and build for enterprise tools.
• Learn to develop scripts in Python/Java/shell/Groovy.
• Set up development environments with Docker and development tools.
• Gain exposure to cloud security tools, policies, and secrets management.
• Work with GitHub, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, Datadog, and other TD internal tools.
• Learn about Azure services including Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes, and ADLS.
• Review and assess new technologies for TD tools and systems.
