At Bond, we design innovative solutions to help clients build stronger brand loyalty. As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of loyalty solutions.
Typical daily responsibilities include:
- Working independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment, supported by managers and colleagues
- Providing level 2 and 3 support for existing business solutions
- Investigating and troubleshooting technical issues, and suggesting improvements
- Debugging Python, Data Warehouse scripts, ASP.Net/C# code, and SQL stored procedures to identify root causes and solutions
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff members
- Automating and identifying gaps in application monitoring processes
- Researching and learning new tools to enhance operational solutions
- Collaborating with Digital Development, Infrastructure, Client Services, and other teams
- Adhering to internal technical standards and policies to ensure quality and security
- Participating in on-call duties on a rotation schedule
- Sharing knowledge and skills to challenge and improve the team
Ideal candidate profile:
- Over 3 years of experience diagnosing, isolating, and debugging software issues in multi-tier Web and Windows applications
- Over 3 years of experience with Visual Studio, ASP.Net, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server
- At least 2 years designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS
- Azure Certification (AZ900, AZ400) is preferred
- Strong understanding of Azure services, tools, and best practices
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages is a plus
- Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Salt
- Experience supporting enterprise and cloud services, including ETL processes with SSIS
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and develop complex SQL queries and troubleshoot stored procedures
- Understanding infrastructure issues in Windows Server environments, IIS, load balancing, certificates, and connectivity
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven success managing multiple complex activities under tight deadlines
- Experience working in large, multidisciplinary teams
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent
