Job summary

CPUS Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. seeks an Associate Cloud App-Dev Engineer to design and deploy cloud-native applications and IaC using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Pulumi on Azure.

You will implement PaaS components, secure automation, and support CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and Azure DevOps. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering with Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitOps, delivering scalable cloud solutions while collaborating with senior engineers on architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud-native application development, PaaS technologies, containerization, IaC, DevOps practices, programming, and cloud infra engineering.
• Requires four-year university education in CS/Engineering/IT or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, deploy, and support cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes and container orchestration patterns.
• Develop, configure, and maintain PaaS components including compute, database, storage, and integration services.
• Implement and support software-defined networking using established designs and standards.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Develop and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Implement security controls for automation including secrets management, RBAC, encryption, and secure configs.
• Implement scalable, available, and resilient cloud solutions using Azure architecture patterns.
• Apply GitOps principles and maintain deployment/config processes (Flux, ArgoCD).
• Develop/infrastructure automation using .NET, Node.js, Java, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or Python.
• Analyze infrastructure requirements with technical/business teams and translate to specifications.
• Monitor and improve performance, reliability, and security of cloud infra.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging cloud/DevOps tech; contribute to evaluations/POCs.
