Job details

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandising Administrator to join our corporate team. As a vital link between our suppliers and our four nationwide retail locations, you will ensure the integrity of our product data and the efficiency of our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of product information, from initial SKU creation to inventory auditing. You will partner with Department Heads to ensure our "fresh and healthy" product mix is accurately reflected in our systems, driving the financial performance and operational excellence of Btrust Supermarkets.

Major Responsibilities
  • Input and update records in computer systems and databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure data accuracy by identifying and correcting errors as needed.
  • Verify data by comparing it with source documents or other data sets.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data entry procedures, standards, and protocols.
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
  • Generate reports and summaries of data entry activities as required by management.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient data entry processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency.
  • Rotate to different store locations as needed based on scheduling requirements to handle data-related tasks.
  • Perform related tasks as required by supervisor and manager.
  • All responsibilities may subject to adjustment on the company’s sole discretion.
Skills and Qualification Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in computer science or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably in an IT or technical environment.
  • Proficiency in typing and data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with data entry software, databases, and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, terminology, and concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin or Cantonese for both written and spoken.
