Job summary

Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's is seeking a Retail Outfitter to join our Calgary team. You will deliver legendary customer service, help customers select gear, and share product knowledge to ensure a memorable shopping experience.

You will promote promotions, maintain store presentation, and stay informed about outdoor lifestyle trends. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and flexibility across store areas.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers' needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer's expectations.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
