Job summary

A leading organization in Northeastern Ontario is seeking a Clinician – Non-Registered to join their Child and Youth Mental Health team. The successful candidate will provide essential counselling and clinical assessments to support children and adolescents, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. This role requires a B.A. in Psychology and strong clinical skills in children's mental health, along with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum B.A. in Psychology (3 years).
  • Registered Clinicians encouraged to apply.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and use of own vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide single sessions, counselling, support and clinical assessments.
  • Address identified behavioural, social and emotional needs of children and adolescents.
  • Work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.

CLINICIENNE OU CLINICIEN NON INSCRITE OU NON INSCRIT

CLINICIAN – NON-REGISTERED

As a member of the Child and Youth Mental Health team, the Clinician – Non-Registered will provide single sessions, counselling, support and clinical assessments to address identified behavioural, social and emotional needs of children, adolescents (up to eighteen (18) years of age) and their family support systems. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful and innovative, working within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of professionals.

Job Requirements (qualifications And Skills)

  • Minimum B.A. in Psychology (3 years).
  • Registered Clinicians that meet the education and registration requirements accepted by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), College of Nurses of Ontario, College of Psychologists or College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario are encouraged to apply. Salary will be determined accordingly.
  • Clinical skills in children’s mental health.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Bilingualism (English / French) is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and use of own vehicle.
