Job summary

Pharma Medica Research Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Clinical Trial Participant Recruiter to help identify and enroll volunteers for early phase studies.

You will screen participants, coordinate calls, maintain records in PSMS, and support training programs to ensure GCP compliance and high-quality study conduct.

Qualifications

• High school completion with 1 year of call center or related experience.
• Good understanding of science is an asset.
• General knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Customer service skills, to listen to volunteers/participants and professionally answer questions or address concerns.
• Ability to confidently make any calls.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• Exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new or existing participants for clinical studies.
• Answer calls/emails from participants or call out from the match list.
• Telephone screen participants, book and cancel appointments.
• Provide participants with relevant information for studies.
• Share study-related information with participants according to protocol requirements and to the scope of delegation.
• Work in screening reception independently.
• Create new participant files in PSMS and update the participant screening file.
• Properly complete the documentation of clinical activities according to GCP, SOP guidelines and/or EDA/TPD regulations.
• Participate regularly in PMRI training programs including GCP, SOP training and PMRI in-house training modules.
• Achieve 80% or greater in all PMRI training evaluations including GCP, SOP tests and PMRI in-house training module tests.
• Follow Joint Health and Safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Photocopying and other administrative work.
• Other duties as required.

We are currently looking for Clinical Trial Participant Recruiters to join our Toronto team!

The Clinical Trial Participant Recruiter phone screens potential participants at Pharma Medica Research Inc. (PMRI). This position reports to the Recruiting Coordinator and/or designate.

Duties and Responsibilities
