This role (Clinical Therapist) is assessed as a Roamer position requiring at least 3 days in the office per week and two evenings per week (until 8pm), dependent upon client need. This role is also eligible for the compressed work week program upon successful completion of probationary period.
The Clinical Therapist is an integral part of a busy, dynamic, and growing clinical program at Kinark Child and Family Services, Community Based Child and Youth Mental Health program in the Northumberland region. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Clinical Therapist will liaise with internal and external collaterals in the provision of clinical services. Responsibilities include completing comprehensive clinical assessments, formulating and developing individualized treatment plans, and providing individual, family, and/or group therapy to high-risk and complex children, youth, and families in office-based and community settings. The successful candidate will work some evenings per week based on client needs.
The Clinical Therapist position is covered by the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 2860. Internal applicants will be considered first.
