Job summary

CAMH in Toronto is seeking a full-time, 12-month contract Program Officer to support Clinical Research operations. You will provide administrative support, manage invoicing, metrics collection, scheduling, and disseminate information for educational workshops, while helping onboard new staff and trainees.

Reporting to the Research Operations Manager and the Director of Clinical Research, you will assist with project support, develop processes, train staff on new systems, monitor documentation,

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with initiative and good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Forms, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with REDCap is an asset.
• Strong time management; multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.
• Understanding of QA practices and Research Ethics Board procedures preferred.
• Experience in clinical research from start-up to close-out required.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Fluency in French/English or another second language is an asset.
• Advanced influencing, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for core clinical research services including invoicing and metric collection.
• Schedule and distribute information for educational workshops; support onboarding of staff and trainees.
• Support special projects and development/implementation of processes and services.
• Assist with training on new systems, monitor documentation, and review processes.
• Support large, multi-project initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
