RI-MUHC in Montreal, Quebec is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to conduct clinic interventions under approved protocols within the Women's Health Research Unit. The role emphasizes regulatory oversight and compliance across multiple studies, ensuring ethics approvals and diligent maintenance of the Investigator Study File (ISF).

Under supervision of Dr. Lucy Gilbert, you will liaise with sponsors and coordinate site visits, monitoring, and follow-up, contributing to patient-centered

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences.
• 2 years of work experience.
• French language required; English ability needed for diverse interactions.
• Regulatory/ethics submission experience is preferred.
• Experience with Nagano is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinic interventions per protocols and SOPs.
• Oversee regulatory aspects of multiple studies.
• Obtain ethics approvals and maintain ongoing approvals.
• Maintain Investigator Study File (ISF) and regulatory docs.
• Coordinate site visits, monitoring, and sponsor liaison.

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position Summary

Department / Research Program: Women's Health Research Unit

Under the supervision of Dr. Lucy Gilbert, the clinical research coordinator is responsible to conduct clinic interventions following protocols, procedures and internal SOPs.

The incumbent is responsible for the regulatory aspects of multiple studies.

General Duties

• Obtains ethics committee approval of protocols and ensures ethical approvals throughout the study,
• Maintenance of the Investigator Study File (ISF),
• Schedules site initiation visits, monitoring visits and follows-up with issues identified,
• Acts as a liaison with the sponsors’ representatives,
• Conduct other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study: Sciences

Work Experience: 2 years

Required Skills

• Knowledge of French is required.
• An intermediate knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with patients, researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English.
• Demonstrates adaptability skills,
• Capacity to work autonomously or with teams with minimum supervision,
• Prior experience with Nagano is an asset.

Additional information

Status: Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek)

Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience

Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Work Site: Glen Site, 1001 Decarie Blvd.
