RI-MUHC in Montreal, Quebec, is seeking a proactive Licensed Practical Nurse or Research Nurse to join our Cardiology research program. You will recruit participants, obtain informed consent, prepare study documents, and process blood samples while supporting the team with administrative duties. Blood draws and ECGs are mandatory.

The role is temporary, full-time (35 hours) with a typical 7:45–15:45 shift, based at 5100 boul. de Maisonneuve.

Formación

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Nursing or equivalent.
• Active nursing license in Quebec (OIIAQ/OIIQ) preferred.
• Experience in research is an asset.
• Bilingual—French and English communication with patients.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit participants for the Cardiology program.
• Obtain informed consent from participants.
• Prepare study documents and maintain study records.
• Process blood samples and manage logistics for biospecimens.
• Handle administrative tasks and support the team.
• Order and manage supplies; assist with coverage during leave.

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Position Summary

Department / Research Program: Cardiology

The program aims to recruit 4,000 participants, men and women aged 35-79 years who are either healthy, at risk, or who have known cardiovascular disease. The program provides the technical and logistical infrastructure for collecting and maintaining biospecimens and the data and associated information derived from biological materials such as blood, body fluids, tissue samples, genomic data, microbiomic data, digital health data, and imaging studies. https://cvsignature.ca

We are seeking a proactive and organized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Research nurse to join our dynamic team. The incumbent will play a key role in the execution of clinical research studies by managing participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, preparing study documents, processing blood samples, and handling various administrative tasks. This role also involves ordering supplies, providing coverage for administrative tasks during teammate vacations, and supporting the team by completing additional tasks as directed by the manager.
