The Department of Oncology in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Clinical Research Coordinator. This Full-time Fixed Termposition is for approximately 6 months (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
This position reports to the Principal Investigator.
Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the tumor tissue banking program for the Principal Investigator, including biobanking, bioprocessing, biostorage, handling and transportation of biospecimens, and communication with sponsors and collaborators. The position will also manage clinical trials, including participant consenting, data collection, sponsor liaison, and coordination with collaborating surgeons and other stakeholders. The position will support multiple research projects through data collection, management, and analysis, as well as provide technical support to research staff, study collaborators, and students. Responsibilities will also include chemical management, laboratory inspections, hazard assessments, and laboratory safety training to ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
