Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking a Temporary Full Time Project Planning Leader, Clinical Programs, to drive large-scale organizational transformation across our healthcare network. In this high-visibility role, you will lead the design, execution and regional integration of specialized clinical programs, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and mitigating complex risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field, Planning or Business Administration.
• Seven (7) years' recent related clinical operations experience including planning, project management and/or organizational transformation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned projects related to the integration of specialized clinical program areas; provides strategic advice to groups on change initiatives and leads through each step.
• Coordinates and manages plans; ensures optimal structure, design and implementation to achieve outcomes and avoids duplication.
• Develops tools and templates for team review using best practice literature and stakeholder input.
• Manages day-to-day initiatives; monitors progress and reports to steering committees; identifies risks and mitigates issues.
• Liaises with support areas and stakeholders to overcome impediments to progress and success.
• Applies change management principles to engage physicians and other stakeholders in clinical design and processes.
• Identifies stakeholder strategies and collaborates with Communications for engagement plans.
• Establishes appropriate team structures including sponsorship, champions, and steering committees for initiatives.
• Assesses impacts from a systems perspective and manages interdependencies with other Fraser Health initiatives.
• Assists in developing project documentation (proposals, charters, risk plans, communications).
• Partners with programs and departments to promote goals and objectives; supports relationships with external partners.
• Participates in evaluation and refinement of tools and methods; assists in project updates.
