We are seeking a dynamic leader to provide clinical and professional practice leadership, education, and research in our community healthcare setting.

Position Overview

The Clinical Practice Leader will lead clinical and operational activities in Respiratory Therapy and Cardio Diagnostics, supporting quality improvement, staff development, and program evaluation. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, staff recruitment, and ensuring adherence to professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of Respiratory Therapy & Cardio Diagnostics departments.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Manager.
  • Promote clinical skills excellence and team development.
  • Participate in recruitment, performance management, and staff orientation.
  • Coordinate clinical activities to meet patient needs.
  • Develop staffing schedules and facilitate staff education and advanced practice development.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and professional standards.
  • Provide leadership for projects including Pulmonary Function and Sleep Labs.
Minimum Requirements
  • Registered member of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO) in good standing.
  • Master's degree in Health Science or a related field (candidates pursuing their Master’s will be considered).
  • Recent leadership experience in hospital Cardio-Respiratory services.
  • Strong clinical skills, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to professional standards and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to design and evaluate educational programs.
  • Excellent attendance record and discipline-free history.
