Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc. in Nanaimo, BC is seeking a Pharmacist to join Pharmasave Westhill. You will deliver clinical services, vaccinations, and medication reviews, while guiding students and ensuring regulatory compliance.

We value patient-centered care, collaboration with healthcare teams, and opportunities for professional growth within Canada’s largest network of community pharmacies. Eligible candidates must be licensed in BC and injection-certified.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists
• Injection certification required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
