Qualifications

  • Registered Clinical Pharmacist with current registration.

Position Summary

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health and reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Lead, Primary and Long-Term Care, this position provides clinical pharmacy services to patients of the primary care network. As a member of an interprofessional team, this position works directly with patients to identify and resolve actual and potential drug therapy problems through the provision of comprehensive medication management.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30. Rotation and days of work are subject to change based on operational needs. Position serves Prince Rupert and Coast Tsimshian.

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER, and Maternity. Services include:

  • Acute Care
  • Internal medicine
  • Ultrasound
  • CT scans
  • Surgery
  • Emergency department
  • Extended care
  • Pediatrics
  • Radiology
  • Obstetrics
  • Gynecology

Additional services such as Diabetes Education, Healthy Heart and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and other visiting specialists.

Prince Rupert is a marine-based port city with wilderness exploration and wildlife viewing experiences on northwest BC's Pacific Coast. It's a popular stop on Alaskan cruises. Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
