Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to deliver clinical pharmacy services and pharmaceutical care across multiple sites. You will work under supervision with Site/Clinical Coordinators and a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, ensure safety, and uphold professional standards.

Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensing in British Columbia and have completed an accredited residency or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Identify and resolve drug therapy problems.
• Apply clinical knowledge with minimal supervision.
• Work independently within a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, other health practitioners, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services and pharmaceutical care.
