Job summary

VIHA's Cumberland Health Centre is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team in Cumberland, BC. Reporting to the Pharmacy Site Coordinator, you will contribute to safe drug distribution, provide basic drug information, adjust medications as needed, and counsel patients.

The role requires licensure or eligibility with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary health

Qualifications

• Licensed by, or eligible for Licensing by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the multidisciplinary health care team.

Job Description

Reporting to the Pharmacy Site Coordinator or designate, the Staff Pharmacist provides drug distribution, basic drug information, medication dosage adjustments and patient counseling.

Education, Training And Experience

Licensed by, or eligible for Licensing by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
