TRIO is seeking a Clinical Outsourcing Unit Manager to join our Finance team. This position reports to the Senior Clinical Outsourcing Unit Manager and is home-based in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the design and maintenance of Clinical Outsourcing SOPs, activity trackers, and tools (budget templates, review tools, etc.).
- Provides oversight of TPO budgets, including monthly reviews.
- Forecasts budget reconciliation and negotiates change orders under supervisor guidance, ensuring compliance with SOPs related to contracts and budgets with TPOs.
- Participates in negotiation of change orders and performs budget amendments as directed.
- Reviews billing information for compliance and accuracy before submission to finance.
- Negotiates Master Service Agreements and creates standard budget grids with TPOs under supervision.
- Performs quality control on TPO files, resolves issues with COU Specialists, and contacts involved parties for additional information when necessary.
This position is not a people manager and has no direct reports.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or Life Sciences is preferred but combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Clinical Trials and knowledge of GCP is highly desirable.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Ability to take initiative, be flexible, exercise good judgment, and communicate effectively with all management levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to engage external parties.
- Legally authorized to work in the country.

Pay Range: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00. Salary is influenced by education, experience, location, and other factors.
