Job summary

Recovery Alberta seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead education for the Concurrent Disorders Unit at Alberta Hospital Edmonton. You will plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate nursing education, including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development.

You will collaborate with management, mentor staff, promote trauma-informed and culturally safe care, and translate evidence-based practice into training for nursing and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with CRNA (Alberta).
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate education for nursing staff (orientation, compulsory and continuing education).
• Collaborate with management and partners to promote standards of clinical and educational practice.
• Provide safe, high-quality patient- and family-centered education while reflecting Recovery Alberta values.
• Translate evidence-based practices into practical education for the nursing and interdisciplinary teams.
