Job summary

Recovery Alberta is seeking an Instructor for Claresholm Centre for MH&A to lead nursing education, orientation, and ongoing development for a multidisciplinary team in a rural setting. You will design, deliver and evaluate educational programs aligned with regulations and clinical goals.

You will collaborate with management and partners to promote safety, standards and outcome-driven learning, while supporting travel between sites as required and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating/teaching diverse adult learners.
• Clinical expertise in mental health nursing with strong leadership.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act, PPIC and HIA.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of nursing education.
• Develop orientation, compulsory and continuing education for staff.
• Collaborate with management to promote evidence-based practice.
• Support safe, quality patient and family-centred care and travel as needed.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to identify learning needs and drive improvements.
