Your Opportunity:

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently offers a Remote Retention Allowance up to $3,000 annually. This allowance is non-pensionable and paid hourly for all hours at the basic pay rate.

Description:

As an EMS Clinical Educator, you will develop, deliver, and monitor training programs, support competency assessments, and provide ongoing learning support to EMS personnel through various modalities including lectures, e-learning, simulation, and coaching. Applicants external to or internal within AHS must provide proof of successful completion of the F.A.R.E. test via a Lifemark certificate, completed at least six (6) months prior to application. Verification may be performed with Lifemark.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) Advanced Care Paramedic program.
• Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six (6) demerits.
• Current BCLS-HCP certification.
• F.A.R.E. test completion within the last six months.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Substantive Acute Care Paramedic experience.
• Post-secondary instructional experience.
• Instructor status in ACLS, PALS, CPR, NRP.
