Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient nutritional care.
• Assess patients' nutritional status, formulate care plans, coordinate implementation, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Provide nutrition education to patients and families.
• Approve supplements as appropriate and assist in developing a hospital formulary suitable for the patient population.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Registered Dietitian required (CMS requirement).
2. One year healthcare experience desirable.
