A leading community resources organization seeks a Clinical Counsellor to provide support to the Spanish-speaking community. The Opportunity:
Working within our Settlement and Community Department under the Safe Haven program, the Clinical Counsellor, Spanish Speaking provides counselling support to the Spanish-speaking community through two different programs.
Programs for Children and Families – DIVERSEcity Community Resources Societysupports newcomer and underserved children and families with Early Years Services, middle years, youth, and parenting programs.
This role will involve both in-office, outreach and advocacy support, as well as evening and weekend work depending on program needs. All counselling services and interventions are individualized for each client and family, with the aim of reducing barriers the client is facing and increasing capacity through a strength-based therapeutic approach. To serve the needs of our community, candidates must be able to provide service in English and Spanish, additional languages an asset.
