Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health System in Hamilton seeks a Clinical Coding Specialist to code and abstract inpatient and outpatient encounters in line with CIHI and MOHLTC requirements. The role requires CHIMA certification, ICD-10-CA/CCI expertise, and experience with DAD/NACRS; 8-hour days, weekdays.

You will work in a team, ensure accurate health records, and support hospital information systems. A coding test will be part of the interview process.

Qualifications

• CHIMA certification in good standing is required.
