Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Medical Unit-III in New Brunswick.

A Day in the Life of a Clinical Care Tech (Video)

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association
Preferred:
  • Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program
  • Certified nursing assistant
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Evening Shift, 16 hours per week (2 shifts), 3p-11:30p, including every other weekend and holidays
Essential Functions:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care, including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and bedside care such as bathing, mouth care, and skin care
  • Ensure effective and safe patient outcomes through appropriate practice and judgment
  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing staff regarding patient care
  • Participate in planning patient care from admission to discharge for safe transitions
