Job Overview:

RWJBH is seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator, Registered Nurse, for our Gamma Knife Radiation Oncology Department at the New Brunswick campus.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BSN

Preferred:

• OCN or must be obtained within 2 years of hire date
• ACLS and PALS or must be obtained within 2 years of hire date

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Scheduling Requirements:

• 24 hours weekly, Day Shift
• Monday to Friday
• Part-Time

Essential Functions:

• Assumes clinical responsibility for a specific caseload of patients as a professional Registered Nurse.
• Works under the direction of a physician to assess patients' past history and current condition.
• Establishes and monitors family goals and outcomes.
• Coordinates, monitors, and evaluates patient care in the outpatient setting.
• Accesses and implements patient and family education and home care needs.
• Uses understanding of growth and development principles to address age-specific needs and treatment for pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric populations.
