What are the responsibilities of a Medical Aesthetician?

In This Role You Will Need To

• Provide aesthetic services (e.g. Chemical Peels, Laser skin services, Facials, Microneedling, laser tattoo removal and more).
• Ensure that all services begin and end according to their scheduled times, and deliver world-class service while managing client expectations.
• Direct clients to the appropriate treatment room, and make them familiar with the facility.
• Accurately review, document, and update client charts in preparation and at the completion of each service.
• Upsell and cross-sell to ensure clients access the best-fit skincare products and services.
• Provide basic and in-depth information in-person and via phone/email and (virtual) consultations.
• Maintain equipment and service areas according to public health and IPAC guidelines.
• Assist clients with scheduling, or rescheduling their appointments.
• Support the clinic in its events.
• Meet a modest daily sales goal.
  
  

What are the role requirements?

• A background in medical aesthetics. You have read and understand the O. Reg 136/18 Personal Service Settings, and Ontario Infection Prevention and Control Best Practices.
• Good interpersonal skills, and are able to communicate well and work with people across different levels.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize according to situations.
• Pleasant, professional disposition and energy to thrive in an upmarket clinical environment.
• A high level of professionalism and care in personal presentation.
• Committed, reliable, and takes pride in their work.
• The ability to maintain composure; calm in stressful situations, enthusiastic in scenarios requiring inspiration.
