Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years in Commercial Insurance Brokering or as a Commercial Underwriter.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

Overview

As the Client Solutions Manager on the Select team, you will provide outstanding client service to Gallagher's Small Medium Clients. While working on a fun and collaborative team, you'll get to carry out a wide range of duties. You will be managing an existing portfolio of clients - driving the renewal cycle, handling day-to-day policy updates, talking and building relations with insurers and marketing policies.

Work Environment: Hybrid (Agile) - We, at Gallagher, enjoy the benefits of working remotely while also collaborating and interacting with each other in the office.

How You'll Make An Impact

  1. Supporting a designated portfolio of small and medium business clientele, playing the lead role in business retention and continually building upon customer relationships.
  2. Evaluate accounts at renewal, taking the vital steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when required, adhering to binding authority set out by carriers.
  3. Respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently, maintaining the quick turnaround time for any actions required on behalf of the client.
  4. Recognize upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads, working with Account Executives in binding the client.
  5. Consistently acting to upgrade insurance market knowledge, staying ahead of new products and policy updates.
  6. Work with Account Executives on cross-selling opportunities and accessing resources within Gallagher.
About You

  4. Always maintaining a keen eye for detail comes easy and is a key part of what has made you successful in your past roles.
  5. Highly tech-savvy, with an ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
  6. 2 to 3+ years of Commercial Insurance Brokering experience and/or experience as a Commercial Underwriter will be considered a strong asset.
  7. CAIB, CIP, CRM, or other relevant certifications/designations highly valued.
  8. Active and in good standing provincial licensing. Additional Licensing across the Atlantic will be considered a strong asset.
  9. Knowledge of EPIC considered an asset.
