Job summary

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is seeking a Client Service Technician for the Prince George, BC location. This role delivers and transports medical gas products and equipment to clients, maintains vehicle safety, and provides outstanding customer service.

The CST also trains customers on equipment use and maintenance. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, 2-3 years of driving/delivery and customer service experience, plus the ability to lift 55 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of consecutive driving/delivery experience.
• 2-3 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to lift and maneuver 55 pounds unassisted on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and transport medical gas products and equipment to clients and institutions.
• Maintain safe operation of company vehicles and provide outstanding customer service.
• Train customers on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Complete documentation for technical visits, deliveries and equipment exchanges.
• Perform warehouse duties including stocking shelves and equipment cleaning.
• Inspect vehicle before and after use and log service hours.
• Ensure safe supply of gases by proper trans-filling and transportation procedures.

VitalAire Canada is the Canadian home healthcare subsidiary of Air Liquide, the world leader in gases, medical technologies and services for Industry and Healthcare. VitalAire empowers patients who have sleep apnea or require home oxygen therapy through ongoing respiratory support and compliance.

VitalAire is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated Client Service Technician for our Prince George, BC location. The Client Service Technician (CST) delivers and transports medical gas products and equipment to clients and institutions. The CST maintains safe operation of company vehicles and provides outstanding customer service. They are also involved in training customers on the proper use and maintenance of their equipment.

• Provides training to new clients and responds to requests from current clients.

• Provides client education on equipment function and maintenance.

• Performs technical checks and reviews safety instructions with clients.

• Meets client needs by delivering products according to daily schedule and as required.

• Maintains up-to-date documentation by completing appropriate records for technical visits including equipment exchanges, deliveries and pick up of equipment.

• Performs warehouse duties by stocking shelves with supplies, shipping and receiving of products, and equipment cleaning.

• Inspects vehicle before and after use; documents inspection and logs hours of service.

• Maintains a safe vehicle by arranging for routine maintenance and repairs.

• Ensures safe supply of gases to clients by trans-filling and transporting medical gases according to procedures and regulations.

• Provides after hour service to clients by participating in branch on-call rotation.

Are you a MATCH?

• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• In-depth knowledge of use and maintenance of respiratory home care equipment.

• 2-3 years of consecutive recent driving/delivery experience.

• 2- 3 years Customer service experience.

• Clean and valid driver’s abstract.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualification and other job-related reasons. This is a union position with a wage of $31.01 per hour and opportunities for advancement.
