Position Overview

Responsible for maintaining and refining Paladin Security Group's security programs across assigned contracts in Winnipeg; developing strategies to support these programs; and evaluating staff capacity to respond effectively to emergencies.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Assist in developing short- and long-term goals aligned with Paladin's policies and vision.
  2. Monitor site profitability using PowerBI and develop plans to ensure wages increase appropriately with cost of living and minimum wage adjustments.
  3. Develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate security programs for contracts.
  4. Oversee scheduling and resource allocation to meet contractual obligations.
  5. Take ownership of staff and client issues, supporting timely responses.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  7. Assist HR with interviews to ensure sufficient staffing levels.
  8. Ensure site training and employee orientation programs are in place.
  9. Monitor compliance with Labour Standards and classification agreements.
  10. Work with scheduling to minimize overtime, targeting less than 1%.
  11. Conduct regular visits to client sites to meet client and staff needs.
  12. Monitor accounts receivable and assist accounting as needed.
  13. Review daily reports and incident reports, taking appropriate actions.
  14. Coordinate security plans to meet client expectations and industry standards.
  15. Verify that site staff complete monthly OH&S updates, including risk assessments and new employee orientations.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention training
Experience & Licensing
  • Previous security experience
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (non-GDL)
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
