CSJ is a program under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), which aims to provide quality summer employment opportunities for youth to develop skills and gain paid work experience to successfully transition into the labour market.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

Our Client Service Team operates year-round with consistent schedules including day shifts, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assign client visits to nurses and home support workers, considering geography, client needs, and care continuity, following collective agreement guidelines and planning procedures.
  2. Handle activities such as receiving and processing referrals, responding to inquiries, scheduling changes, and administrative duties.
  3. Collaborate with team members and management to ensure sufficient staffing and quality care delivery, including forecasting weekly needs.
  4. Support clients and staff to ensure quality care.
  5. Manage a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, meeting scheduling deadlines.
  6. Protect confidential information related to clients, staff, and operations.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
